THE DOG IN THE BUDWEISER COMMERCIAL BECAME REALLY POPULAR DURING THE SUPER BOWL. IT TURNS OUT, THIS DOG BELONGS TO TWO OF THE BIGGEST ACTORS IN HOLLYWOOD.

On Sunday, we had the Super Bowl, and just like every year, the commercials were as big a deal as the game itself. They featured famous people like Beyonce, Jeff Goldblum, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Lopez.

But one of the most popular stars in this year’s commercials has a surprising connection to celebrities. It’s a dog, and it actually belongs to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell!

The celebrity power couple’s pet lab Roy Hawn Russell is the latest “nepo baby” to conquer Hollywood after starring in this year’s Budweiser Super Bowl spot, co-starring alongside the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales.

The minute-long commercial, titled “Old School Delivery,” sees the Clydesdales making a Bud delivery through a snowstorm after the highways are shut down. When the drivers get lost in the snow, a yellow lab shows up to lead them to the bar.

People really liked the Budweiser commercial during the Super Bowl. They were happy to see the Budweiser Clydesdales back in the ads, especially with a dog.

The Russell-Hawn family was particularly excited about it because their dog was in the commercial. Goldie Hawn wrote on Instagram how much they enjoyed watching their dog, Roy Hawn Russell, in his first Super Bowl commercial. She shared a video of their family cheering for Roy while watching the commercial

Hawn’s daughter Kate Hudson also shared a video of her own watch party, with guests cheering on the family dog. “Oh my god, Roy!” one voice is heard saying.

“There’s a lot of thespians in this families but tonight there was only one star,” Kate Hudson wrote.

Hawn and Russell are the owners of a pack of dogs, and have had Roy since January 2021. Photos posted by Hawn show the dog as a puppy and at a year old, back in his pre-fame days.

According to Budweiser, the commercial was directed by Henry-Alex Rubin, who has won awards for his work. The ad also includes Fred Dana, a real Budweiser worker with over 34 years of experience.

Even though Roy comes from famous parents, it’s not clear how he got the job or if he’ll act more after the Super Bowl. But he definitely shone in the spotlight, showing that talent runs in his family.

We loved this commercial during the Super Bowl and were surprised to learn that this dog belongs to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell! It’s like a star was born!
